John Adkisson

 

Mastermind | Head Brewer | Recipe Development

Creative inspiration for the business, John has been brewing beer both as a home and commercial brewer for over 25 years.  He has won several national awards for his beers and is recognized locally for his expertise and knowledge in brewing.  He is a certified beer judge and periodically teaches courses in beer making.  He has worked for and consulted with several commercial breweries in Tucson. 

Brian Dougherty

 

Lead Brewer | Magic Maker

An East-Coast-Transplant, Brian is an integral part of making damn good beer at Iron John's. With a culinary background, skills in the kitchen, and a beard to go with it all, he brings a new level of creativity & dedication to the brewing process. When he's not mashing over the kettle, he loves riding his bike, sipping IPAs, and spending time with his dog, Miss Piggy.

Miguel Puig

 

Sales & Distribution Manager

Charismatic and a damn good dancer, Miguel oversees packaging & distribution to keep things running as smooth as he is. Originally from Obregon, Sonora, México, he has a background in hospitality and loves to explore his palate. You may recognize his face from behind the bar at one of our favorite local spots, The Dusty Monk Pub. He lives happily with his wife Chanel and son Dylan.

Kelsey Reinhard

 

Sales Wizard | Queen of the tap room

A badass beer lover with beauty, brains, and one hell of a sense of humor, Kelsey is dynamite and we're so lucky to have her! You may recognize her from the one & only Plaza Liquors. Originally from Michigan, she has a background in creative writing and is a talented budding visual artist in-house. (Check out her work on our chalkboards!) She also collaborates on events, design consultation, etc. When she's not selling beer she enjoys adventures, laughs, and spending time with her dog, BooBoo.

Justin Laszczak

 

Sales Wizard | King of the tap room

Beer enthusiast and Tucson native, Justin has a sophisticated palate and knowledge of beer. He keeps our kegs shiny and clean and keeps the tunes fresh in the tap room. You may recognize him from his days spent at 1702. In his spare time, he loves hockey, a good barrel aged beer, and snow boarding. Fun fact: You can hang out with Justin on Wednesday evenings at The Coronet!

Chris & Rose Faitsch​

 

Business builders | Entrepreneurs

The Faitschs discovered Iron John's one evening with friends and things have never been the same. They have built many successful businesses together and now are on the edge of expansion with us, helping to build whats coming next for Iron John's. 

Cory Carpenter​

 

Business Builder | Olympian

A love for beer and curiosity about the industry led Cory to our door and we're so happy it did. As we approach our time for growth, he is helping move Iron John's forward in an exciting direction. His background in international sales and business development allows him to bring well-rounded experience and a critical eye to the beer table. Originally from Wisconsin, Cory now calls Tucson home with his wife Kristin and their two children.
